She has a legal and human resources background, which she gained working for government organizations as well as private organizations. Mia also has experience being an entrepreneur as she operated her own small business for some time. She is very passionate about small businesses and anyone that contributes to the Canadian economy. Mia, being a first generation Canadian with an South Asian background is fluent in English, Punjabi and (conversational) Spanish. Mia is passionate about helping immigrants in Canada obtain the correct information to be successful in Canada as her parents were immigrants and she believes Canada is the best country to reside in.
